Porsche 944 2.5 Non Turbo Oil Cooler/Heat Transfer Bypass/External Cooler Kit

This Porsche 944 external oil cooler kit has been designed and developed to remove the troublesome internal oil to water heat transfer core that comes as standard on the 944.  Many 944's are off the road due to the same failure.  When the heat exchange core fails, the oil is pumped directly into the water cooling system causing "head gasket failure" symptoms, overheating, coolant system pressurising and oil/water mixing, but the biggest issue is the drop in oil pressure that we have seen cause severe engine internal damage.
 
This kit allows the complete removal of the old, expensive, and now hard to source OEM cooler kit. Once this kit is installed, the oil and coolant systems are completely separated so you will no longer need to worry about the famous core failure destroying your engine and can drive your classic Porsche the way it was meant to be driven, whether on the road or spreading its' wings on the track with the added benefit of the extra oil cooling provided by the front mounted external cooler.
 
We use only the highest grade convoluted PTFE stainless, hydraulic lines on our kits - not to be confused with the much cheaper, less reliable flat board braided lines available, that are liable to kink and split, and as such all of our braided lines come with a lifetime guarantee.

2 x convoluted PTFE braided stainless oil lines
1 x oil feed/return plate
1 x heat exchange bypass
